We are looking for an Production and Supply Chain Manager to organize, oversee and improve the manufacturing of our unique products. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines, the quality of output, the project management of "production R&D" and communication with our vast network of suppliers. 

We continuously develop novel products specialized to individual clients. This require novel production and assembly methods (we already use patented manufacturing technology) that you will oversee the development of. Because of this we are looking for a manager with deep technical insights and exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

We expect you to have know-how in production procedures or strong personal traits that enables you to keep track of multiple simultaneous projects and maintain control of a complex set-up. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader, and a strong interest in development and continuous improvement will enable you to successfully scale our operations. Responsibilities: 

Production

• Oversee delivery of products at the right time and in the correct quality in consultation with the sales department
• Maintaining a "reasonable" inventory in the context of capacity, trends in production and sales activity, as well as future plans for growth
• Managing virtual component and inventory with Bill Of Material and order specifications (MRP, current system: ERPAG)
• Maintain and create new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Oversee and improve quality control routines
• Travel to the factory and suppliers locations must be expected
• Continuous work towards improving product quality, production processes and cost efficiency
• Oversee all existing production equipment and manage purchases and investments into new equipment and technolgies
• Manage component flow in our production lines and goods going to and from the production premises in China

Project management

• Ensure that new products are developed with a production-friendly design
• Responsibility for getting a product from "starting pit" to "ready for mass production" via planning tools such as Gantt
• Maintain deadlines by ensuring that assignments are delegated and are delivered in accordance with to selected project management tool
  
• Identify areas of improvement, manage teams for R&D and problem-solve when appropriate

Your qualifications:

• Proven experience as production manager, project manager or similar
• Deep knowledge of relevant industry or production management
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics or similar
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• Engineering background or BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred
