We do much more than modular tyres! 

reTyre is first and foremost a leading developer of production equipment and has developed manufacturing technologies that reduce emissions in tyre production by 82%, with a real potential to revolutionize the tyre industry. We are looking for you who have a very special ability to find solutions, are highly proficient in CAD and have a good technical understanding with the ability to work in a structured way.

As a Senior Engineer at reTyre, you will be developing new ways to automatically produce eco-friendly tyres. You will be developing new, novel and cutting-edge machines, designing eco-friendly products and build the worlds most efficient tyre factory here in Norway which will produce the worlds first reusable, rubber-free tyres. You will be involved from concept phase all the way to implementation. You will do modeling, prototyping and testing, and help your creations become real through implementation into scale production.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, production technologies and eco-friendly products
  • Participate in various innovation projects in the company
  • Develop solutions and tools for mass production
  • Implement and follup-up on novel technologies in production


Education and background:

  • Relevant master's or bachelor's degree (engineer in product development, materials, design or electronics, etc.)
  • Extensive CAD knowledge
  • Work experience with production or product development
  • Good language skills: English and Norwegian


Personal characteristics:

  • High work capacity and strong motivation
  • Creative, solution-oriented and with a practical sense
  • Works well independently, but even better in teams
  • Desire to create good results
  • Efficient and impatient
  • Systematic and methodical
