Production Team Leader

We are now seeking a Production Team Leader for a newly established position. This role will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations on the factory floor and managing the production line employees, which currently consists of four team members and more to come. Additionally, the role will involve hands-on work in the production line as well to maintain expertise knowledge of our production methods.
The company’s working language is English.
The production line will eventually be staffed for multiple shifts.
This role reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating daily production operations.
- Managing, developing, and having personnel responsibility for the production team.
- Be the connection between the production team and upper management, ensuring good communication flows and alignment.
- Holding department meetings and ensuring the team is well-informed about activities and plans.
- Coordinating time and staffing plans in line with production schedules.
- Allocating resources at workstations for optimized workflow.
- Training and developing team members.
- Assisting with quality control of products and work processes.
- Reporting on KPIs and maintaining documentation.
- Developing and following up on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures.
- Operating machinery in the production line.
- Adjusting machinery for product changes.
- Reporting deviations, conditions, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conducting maintenance of machinery.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects, documentation work, workshops, and similar activities to enhance your skills and contribute to the workplace's development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an operational team, shift, or mid-level manager in industrial production of physical products.
- Can demonstrate successful results in a similar position.
- Vocational certificate or other formal education in industrial production (a plus but not mandatory if you have sufficient relevant experience).
- Have experience with larger, automated machines such as injection molding or CNC-controlled machines.
- Technical and practical skills.
- Driver’s license (Class B).
- Strong communication and language skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with software used in production environments.
- Have experience with active HSE work.
